The BBC reporter Alan Johnston has appeared in a video posted on an Islamic militant website. It is the first video released of Mr Johnston, since he was abducted on 12 March. It is not clear when the video, which has appeared on the al-Ekhlaas website, was recorded or under what conditions Mr Johnston was speaking.

NABLUS- Five Palestinian factions agreed in Gaza on Saturday to launch an internal dialogue immediately and welcomed the Egyptian and any Arab sponsorship of the dialogue.
